Application procedure

Please refer to the procedure that applies to your academic institution.

How do I apply for an exchange semester abroad?

Check the table of opportunities that corresponds to your course of study.

Select 4 different universities and check with your Academic Advisor that their course offerings are compatible with your study program at UIR.

Send the following to the International Relations Office by e-mail (ri@uir.ac.ma):

 

  1. Completed study abroad application form
  2. Letter of motivation explaining the 4 choices
  3. Last semester’s transcript
  4. Language certificate (minimum B2 in the language of instruction of the host university)

 

The IR Office will forward the list of applicants to the relevant institutions for internal selection based on academic level, proficiency in the language of instruction at the partner institution, motivation and other elements relating to your experience at UIR,

If the language of instruction of the host university is English or Spanish, a language proficiency test will be organized by the Language, Culture and Civilizations Department.

You will receive an e-mail confirming your assigned host university and the documents required to finalize your application.

After confirmation, the partner university will send you a letter of acceptance, which formalizes your study abroad semester and will help you with your visa application. The Visa application is an individual application, which is made by you at Service Agencies or Consulates and Embassies, depending on the country. It is important for you to apply for your Visa as soon as possible, as the process can sometimes take some time.

How do I apply for an exchange semester abroad?

  1. Organization of information sessions by the Rabat Business School’s international mobility department in order to explain the study abroad process for RBS students
  2. The Rabat Business School international mobility department sends out the destination selection form, with a deadline for responses  
  3. Receipt of the “destination wishes” from the students (students choose their preferred destinations (5 choices), the exchange period and specialty) within the required deadline.

    How do I apply for an exchange semester abroad?

     

    1. Check the table of opportunities that corresponds to your course of study
    2. Select 4 different universities and check the course offering proposed by the partner university
    3. Send the Director of Studies of Science Po Rabat the following items no later than 24 February at 3 pm:
      • Completed study abroad application form
      • Letter of motivation explaining the 4 choices (one paragraph per choice is enough)
      • Transcript of semester 1 of the first year or screenshot of the grades on the intranet
      • Language certificate (minimum B2 in the language of instruction of the host university)
    4. You will receive an e-mail confirming the host university you have been assigned to and the registration procedure with the partner university, which will take place from August to October, with the exception of universities in North America, which start the procedure in March
    5. Once the registrations have been completed, you will receive an acceptance letter from the partner university in November 2019, which you need to apply for a student visa. You can apply for a Student Visa individually, through service agencies or consulates and embassies, depending on the country. It is important that you apply for a student visa as soon as possible.

    How do I apply for an exchange semester abroad?

    1. Complete the application form: may include up to 5 choices of schools; the choices should be in order of preference  
    2. Send a letter of motivation: Study abroad applications are formalized by means of a single letter of motivation to the attention of the Director of the School of Architecture of Rabat.

    This letter of motivation must be personalized and clearly explain the relevance of the chosen country and schools (architectural richness and variety of the country or region, specific training(s) of the chosen school, other, ...).

     

    3. Sign the letter of engagement: by the student and by the parent/guardian  

    Priority is given to students with the most convincing academic achievements since the second semester (Licence 1), a low absenteeism rate and a relevant letter of motivation.
