The International University of Rabat is an innovative University model, which is now a national and international reference.
UIR is the first Moroccan university to be created as part of a partnership with the Moroccan government in the field of higher education. This partnership allows it to work towards the achievement of its objectives of excellence, education, research and contribution to the socio-economic development of the Kingdom and the African continent.
The strong commitment of UIR's international academic partners allows us to offer Moroccan and foreign students high-level educational courses, some of which allow students to gain a double degree..
Under Law 01-00 on higher education in Morocco, and in recognition of the quality of the education provided, combined with the research and innovation activities at UIR, the Commission Nationale de Coordination de l’Enseignement Supérieur (National Commission for the Coordination of Higher Education) granted State Recognition to UIR in 2016, thus making our University the first Moroccan University to boast the Recognition status under Law 01-00. The Recognition status implies that the diplomas awarded by UIR are considered to be equivalent to national diplomas.
STUDYING AT UIR: A MULTIDISCIPLINARY UNIVERSITY
The International University of Rabat offers a multidisciplinary educational offering covering many fields of study, ranging from Engineering (IT and Digital Technology, Aeronautics and Automotive, Renewable Energies) and Architecture, Law and Political Science, as well as Business Administration, Management, Actuarial Studies and Logistics, and finally Dentistry.
This multidisciplinary range of majors is the specificity of our University, and so are the teachings of its educational establishments which are based on the research activities carried out in the various research labs at UIR. This is also reinforced by the solid relations existing between UIR and the business world, which are intended to facilitate the professional integration and success of students.
